Psychotherapeutic utilizes for magic mushrooms found by researchers

Magic mushrooms have long been favored by some narcotic users. Now, one study finds that the same mushrooms might have utilizes in psychotherapy. The research found that patients who were given a controlled dose of psilocybin were more open about their emotions and self-reported better life fulfillment over one year later. How Psilocybin helps individuals
In the study posted by the Journal, a group of five head researchers studied 60 subjects. The subjects all reported extensive participation in spiritual activities in their everyday lives and no experience with hallucinogens. The group chosen to obtain the ingredients was put on a couch, given a high dose of the narcotic with an eye mask and headphones for between five and eight hours. There were five times when the subjects got treatment. It occurred regularly.
More openness noted
About 51 percent of the time, psilocybin amounts were helpful. They had optimistic personality changes. More than 30 individuals reported "more open" personalities, including a willingness to be more open about feelings and emotions. More than 65 percent of individuals reported their encounters while on psilocybin as being one of the "five most spiritually significant encounters of their lives." Those in the research were more satisfied with life as well. They had an increase in well-being. All of these effects were reported as similar more than 14 months later.
Used to be ‘magic mushrooms’
Psilocybin has been used for a while. It is the active ingredient in “God’s Flesh,” or “Magic Mushrooms.” Magic mushrooms are just one of numerous drugs being studied for their potential uses in treating every little thing from cancer, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and a host of other mental disorders. Researchers are using more than just magic mushrooms in studies. They're also looking at Lysergic acid diethylamide and ecstasy.
