Head chef | Devon

I'm looking for a Head Chef to run the kitchen for the season, you will need to have a calm manner, not panick under stress and work well within the team enviroment. We are a busy village pub, located by the beach in Cornwall, in the height of the season doing approx 200 covers, using mostly fresh and local ingredients. The menu has been printed for the summer, but you do have the option of of blackboard specials.

We are looking for a Head Chef for a brand new restaurant in Devon, As Head Chef you will have complete choice over the menu and the meals served thus increasing sales and patronage to the restaurant, which will increase your potential earnings as you will be offered a comprehensive bonus?

The kitchen can only be described as LARGE and is very well equipped.  A ’face-lift’ is currently being given to the restaurant and the client would like to be able to offer very good quality home cooked food with restaurant finesse, presented well to ensure return visits.


They are keen to develop theme events and of the obligatory Sunday Carvery, again, increasing sales will be a key part of your position, and you will be expected to put the hours in to achieve this.

Opening in June you have the chance to be there at the very start. This would look good on any CV development, increasing of Sales and awards and accolades.
