Role
The key responsibilities will include:
• Working on all sections providing first class service
• Supervising commis chefs

Candidate Profile
The ideal Chef de Partie Chef will have a genuine interest in food and the catering industry
You will need to have relevant qualifications such as NVQ or equivalent
Previous experience in high volume establishments within 4 or 5 star hotels is essential
Candidates must live locally or must be willing to relocate as accommodation can be provided if required

The Swan @ Boxmoor pub/Grill is due to open in Febuary 2008 ,. Our menu is British / American , the menu changes monthly along with daily specials. All our food is cooked to order using a number of suppliers & fresh ingredients. Part of the successfull Dylans restaurant in Cockfosters & The Horse and Chains in Bushey this new concept will prove to be an instant hit.
We are looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef / Chef de partie with a minimum of two years experience with a desire to make their mark & has a love for cooking.
One of your main goals will be to help develop exciting menus & daily specials while working closely with the Head Chef. The kitchen team is small so a hands on approach to all situations is very important along with a passion & enjoyment for this style of operation.
Applicants need to have proven experience with cooking techniques but no paper work experience is needed.
You will be required to work 7 shifts per week & be paid £18- 20 k per annum with 4 weeks holiday.
Hemel Hempsted station is 4 minutes walk away. so its easy to get to by train.
