A Deputy Head/Sous Chef to start ASAP
An immediate start, with single ensuite accommodation available for a Deputy Head/Sous Chef, to work at ‘Harrington House’, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, in one of HF Holidays Country House Hotels. HF Holidays, with 17 Country House hotels around the UK, each of which are exclusive to Guests of this leading Walking and Leisure Activities Holiday Company.  If you are prepared to go the extra mile in your pursuit of quality, this role will be just to your taste. As a Deputy Head Chef you will be responsible for aiding the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of food, from fresh ingredients, to high standards, while maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work environment at all times. You should be able to work as part of a small team as well as showing your own initiative. You should be qualified to at least NVQ level 2 and with, preferably, 1 year or more experience in a similar role within a Country House hotel. Applicants must be able to demonstrate an awareness of good kitchen standards such as those expected in a Country House hotel.  Usually 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, split shifts. No late nights as there is only one sitting for dinner at 7.30pm.  Weekly rate of pay £293.12, less deductions, paid direct to your Bank Account.
