This international chain hotel overlooking one of Switzerland’s famous lakes is looking to recruit an experienced professional chef. Facilities include 285 bedrooms, 3 restaurants, conference / Banqueting rooms (largest 400). Offering a salary of 4,700 euros gross per month. You will take responsibility for a team of around 30. You will have an International background in City properties. English written & spoken is essential, with French an advantage. Single or with family but please note there is no additional package. This would suit an experienced Exec Chef but also may be suitable for a current Exec Sous, with enough experience to move up. This appointment is available starting at the beginning of January.

Talented, enthusiastic chefs to work in vibrant ski resort
Ski Verbier is looking for talented chef/hosts to join our team of young professionals. You will run one of our chalets on your own, providing beautifully cooked and presented meals for up to 6 guests. You will provide cooked breakfast, homemade afternoon tea, canapés and a four-course evening meal. You will also be expected to clean and maintain your chalet to the high standards set.

Recommended qualifications/experience for applicants include:
- Hard-working and able to work under pressure
- Recognised catering qualification or diploma and catering experience to high standard dinner parties

- Positive and friendly attitude

Head Chef of Chalet Zeus in Zermatt Switzerland

-You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:
-Ensure that all our guests benefit from the highest level of service
-Food ordering for the chalet
-Menu design and planning in conjunction with our Executive chef
-Provide full breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and three/four course evening meal
-Ensure that all guests’ dietary requirements are understood and catered for
-Prepare children’s early dinner if and when appropriate
-Work with the Manager on food budgeting
-Meet all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene requirements
-Keep kitchen and stores clean and tidy
-Ensure all kitchen facilities are in good working order
-Prepare staff meals
