EXECUTIVE CHEF/EXECUTIVE SOUS
Responsibilities:
- Creatively and effectively plan menu for Hospital patients, Restaurant and buffet services.
- Ensure that food preparation and handling is in accordance to HACCP standards.
- Accountable for ordering and receiving of raw materials and controlling of food preparation.
- Lead a team of kitchen staff and ensure that they are well trained and adhere to Company’s policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- Monitor and control food costs by minimizing on spoilage and wastage.
- Ensure that all areas in the kitchen is maintained at the highest standard of cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Chef Training with post-graduate qualification from recognized Institution.
- Resourceful, creative, dynamic, able to multi-task and get hands-on in kitchen operations.
- Matured, good team leadership skills with strong analytical thinking and good problem solving skills.
- Minimum 4 years experience in catering business as Head Chef or Sous Chef.
- Knowledge in food and personal hygiene.
- Pleasant disposition and with good customer service skills.
- Leadership qualities and able to lead a team of cooks.
- Able to work efficiently in team environment.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.
